Staying at the Observatory on Bardsey Island is a fantastic way to experience this magical island and you do not need to be a birdwatcher to stay - all are welcome.
The hostel-style accommodation offered at the Lodge is comfortable but basic. Being an island there is a very limited water supply. The washroom and toilet facilities are shared. That said, there is central heating, electric light and hot and cold running water.
Bardsey is located off the tip of the Llyn Penninsula, North Wales. Access to the island is by boat. If you are staying at the Observatory, you will travel with Colin Evans. More information on travelling to Bardsey with Colin can be found here.
Stays are Saturday to Saturday, to enquire about a booking or if you are ready to make a firm booking and know how many people will be in your party please download and complete the booking form from the link below. Please send completed forms to the Bookings Secretary.
